Student Welfare Activities 2022-23

01. KARMAVEER BHAURAO PATIL EARN AND LEARN 2022-23

In the year 2022-23 our college has successfully conducted the scheme “KARMAVEER BHAURAO PATIL EARN AND LEARN “with the help of Student Development Board Savitri bai Phule University. Total Nineteen students participated in this scheme. Total Rs 85657.50.00 was spend on this scheme. The scheme has proved really useful for economically backward students. These students performed various activities in the various departments of Pharmacy College under guidance of head of departments like issue of books from library, medicinal plant garden maintenance, office work, and help in research activity performed by staff. All these activities proved really useful for the college. Also students learned the new things and received the reward for the work. This helped them to fulfil their educational needs. Thus this scheme is useful for students, teachers and college.

02. Constitution day of India.

National Constitution Day was celebrated at AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune, on 25 November 2022 to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution. To reiterate the values enshrined in the Constitution, the students,teaching, Non teaching  Staff & the Principal  joined   in the reading of the Preamble to the Constitution along with remembering & reading of Fundamental duties at 11:25 am in the college campus . The entire college reaffirmed its commitment to the Indian Constitution by taking the pledge  at All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society  college of  pharmacy pune .

03. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti

Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is observed on 14 April to commemorate the memory of B. R. Ambedkar, Indian politician and social reformer. It marks Ambedkar’s birthday that was born on 14 April 1891. His birthday is also referred to as ‘Equality Day’ by some in India. Students at AISSMS college of Pharmacy presented their views on social justice and social reforms done by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

04. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is a venture launched by the Indian government with the aim of honoring and rejoicing in 75 years of independence, while also paying tribute to the nation’s rich history, cultural heritage, and remarkable accomplishments. This celebration is a heartfelt homage to the Indian residents, who have played a pivotal role in steering the nation’s progress so far. Moreover, this initiative is dedicated to recognizing the potential within the people of India to contribute to the realization of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of propelling India forward as an empowered nation, powered by the principles of Aatmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India. 05. Celebration of National Voter Day

On November 25 Jan  2023, AISSMS College of Pharmacy Earn & Learn students (Student Development Cell) & NSS Students jointly celebrated as National voter days, on this occasion students told about importance of voting, they were announced that  above 18 years students must be register their name on govt website & link their  addhar no & mobile to voter id no.

  1. Activity: – Savitribai Phule Mohotsav

Description of Activity:

AISSMS College of Pharmacy has been celebrated Savitribai Phule Mohotsav as in Pune university has been set & inogarated statue of savitribai phule & circulated notice to celebrate Savitribai Phule Mohotsav to all colleges .Savitribai Phule (3 January 1831 – 10 March 1897) was an Indian social reformer, educationalist, and poet from Maharashtra. Along with her husband, in Maharashtra, she played an important and vital role in improving women’s rights in India. She is considered to be the pioneer of India’s feminist movement.

 

 

  1. Shivrajyabhishek Sohala (Coronation) 2021-22

Description of Activity: Students & All teaching Staff were aware of  Shivrajyabhishek Sohala or Shivrajyabhishek Din is considered an auspicious occasion as it marks the historical coronation of the greatest Maratha king – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. On this day in 1674, Chhatrapati Shivaji became the king of the Maratha Empire. Shivrajyabhishek Sohala were celebrated  as  Principal madam inaugurated the programme by lighting  the lamp & Praying   Shivaji Maharaj Statue .Powada was sung by Prathamesh Bipin  Patil (B.Pharm first year student) Shivaji Maharaj & Rajmata Jijamata poem

Vigilance Awareness Week -2020

As per Savitribai Phule Pune university Circular No. VVM/2020/2021/O91, Dated- 24/10/2020.

We have celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week-2020 in our AISSMS college of Pharmacy.

We took integrity pledge for our Organizations, In this pledge our college Principal Dr. Ashwini Madgulkar and Student development faculty incharge, members, teaching staff and non teaching staff were present to take the pledge by following the pandemic physical distancing rule

Celebration of Constitution Day of India/ Samvidhan Diwas 26 Nov 2020

AISSMS College of Pharmacy pune has celebrated Samvidhan Diwas on 26 Nov 2020 at 12 pm in our college campus . For the celebration  of constitution Principal madam , teaching and non teaching staff were present and they read the preamble of the constitution. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India formally adopted the Constitution of India that came into force on 26 January 1950 Constitution Day or Samvidhan Diwas is celebrated annually in India on 26 November. The day is also known as National Law Day. The day commemorates the adoption of the Constitution in India.

Celebration of National  Education Day 11th Nov 2020

We the college of AISSMS College of Pharmacy  celebrated  11th Nov 2020,as National Education day in remembrance of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, a great freedom fighter , well-known educationist , Poet, first education minister of independent India  , our college  student development officer and staff  delivered a speech on future of Education and Pharmacy in India.

Two-day workshop on Disaster Management Programme 2018-19

The two-day workshop on Disaster Management Programme 2018-19 was held on 29th and 30th January 2019. For this event expert from the field of disaster management were invited to delivery lecture to a student.

On day 1 the First lecture was delivery by Mr. Anil Dandekar, Rtd. Principal, MIT School, Kothrud, Pune who have delivered more than 700 lecturers on disaster and mitigation skills to an educational institute, professional colleges, rotary, and senior clubs. One and half hour presentation was made by Mr. Anil Dandekar on type of disaster and mitigation skill student have found it very interesting and helpful. The second lecture was delivered by Mr. Milind Vaidya, Center for Disaster Management and Studies, Mayur Colony Kothrud. Mr. Milind emphasis on the skill requirement in dealing with disaster in an urban area like fire, flood, road accident. Students were very much interested in this topic of discussion. On day 2 lectures were delivered by Mr. Anil Vedhe of Shri Engineering Services Pune, on fire as a disaster and the methods in fighting a fire. A training session was held to students on the use of various fire fighting equipment college has like a fire extinguisher, sand buckets, and hydrane system. Students found this programme very useful and very much interested in this field of disaster management.

Earn and Learn Scheme 

We at AISSMS College of Pharmacy Kennedy Road, Near R.T.O. Pune; have initiated the student development scheme of the Vidyarthri Vikas Mandal, SPPU, Pune knows as “KARMAVEER BHAURAO PATIL EARN AND LEARN” for last nine years successfully. As per the scheme, students those who are interested and more over who are economically weak are selected and allotted the job in the college campus and paid the honorarium of Rs. 45 /hour at end of each month (as per the scheme norms).Scheme concludes by February end of each academic year.

Special Guidance program 2017-18

“Special Guidance program” at AISSMS college of Pharmacy was started with the aims to all together development of the weak student and benefit them from lectures of expert teachers of respective subjects. Our college is permanent affiliated to University of Pune, we have being successfully carried out this program from last 9 years. According to this development scheme, students of First year B.Pharm are given special guidance on subjects they found it difficult to understand by the senior expert in the same subject from our own college or from other institute.

Personality Development

STRI BHRUN HATYA AND EYE CARE PROGRAMME was held in the AISSMS College of pharmacy on 23th January 2018. The Programme began with inaugural function and introduction of the morning session speaker. Mr. Bajirao Magdum, Dr. Sadhana Bangre and Dr. Madan Biradar. Mr. Bajirao Magdum conducted a lecture on Stri Bhrun Hatya, the social impact and educated the students on the concern topic. Dr. Sadhna Bhangre (Medical Officer) and Dr. Madan Biradar details the measure that the government has taken to eradicate such practice and call upon students and society at large to help such cruel practice of Stri Bhrun Hatya After Lunch break Mr. Saurabh Kumar of Vison express gave lecture on how to take care of eyes. Students eye chekup camp was held in the afternoon session. The event concluded at 4.30pm.

FILM SCREENING AND INTERACTION SESSION ON-‘ Gender Equality & Awareness:

Creating awareness is an important stepping stone towards the achievement of any major goal, and this is important especially when the goal at hand is to create sensitive young men and women, who regard Gender equality as an important guiding principle of all their thoughts and actions. Therefore, in this effort to create awareness about this vital issue of gender equality, the Gender Champions of AISSMS College of Pharmacy, along with the nodal teachers in-charge, organised a ‘Film Screening & Interaction Session on Gender Equality and Awareness.’ on the 29th of September,2017 in the college auditorium. It was attended by participants of First Year and Third Year, B.Pharmacy, which included about 48 girls and 37 boys.

Health Checkup

Students’ Health Services Scheme was established by the University of Pune to promote physical, mental & social well being of the students. Health Check up of every first year and hostel students seeking admission in college is compulsory. This is for benefit of the students as unrecognized disease/s which they are not aware of can be detected at the time of the check-up and the treatment can be taken at appropriate time. The students are advised to correct the illnesses detected at the time of health checkup.
