Scholarships

Various Scholarships are provided by Govt. of Maharashtra / AICTE / DTE and private Organizations. Our college displays notices on their Notice Board and also circulates in the Classroom for the information of the Students to enable them to fill the online forms and submit it to the concerned authorities/offices along with the required documents to be scanned and upload along with the application forms. The students submit the hard copies of the Scholarship form and required documents in the College office. If the students are facing various problems while submitting their scholarship forms and online uploading of required documents, we help them to solve their problems.

College verifies the Scholarship forms online along with the attached documents and forwards the same to the concerned authorities for further scrutiny and approval.

After the scrutiny of the forms, the concerned competent authority approves scholarship to the eligible students by make online payments, directly on Bank Account of the concerned students’. In some cases concerned the authorities transfer scholarship amount on Institute’s Bank Account. In such cases the Institute after prior approval from our Society Office, transfer the scholarship amount on the students’ Nationalized Bank Account by NEFT / RTGS.

Following Scholarships are available to our students which are provided by different regulatory agencies and private organisations.

Minority Scholarship:
Minority Development Department, Government of Maharashtra is offering the Scholarship (Max. Amount of Rs.25,000/-) for pursuing Professional and Technical Education for the economically weaker and meritorious students belonging to Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Christian, Parsi and Jain minority communities.

Eligibility:
1. Applicant should be Domicile of Maharashtra State and Passed SSC from Maharashtra and Passed S.S.C. from Maharashtra state only.
2. 50% marks in previous final exam.
3. Applicant should not avail any other scholarship / stipend.
4. The total annual income of family / guardian should not be more than 6 lakhs.
5. 30% seats are reserved for girl students.
6. For Renewal of Scholarship: Candidates whose Scholarship is sanctioned for the Academic Year 2015-2016 must have admitted for the academic year 2016-2017 in the same Institute for the same course (i.e. Under Graduate (UG / Post Graduate (PG) course for which scholarship is sanctioned for the year 2015-2016).
7. Scholarship will be given to 2(Two) children in a family.

Documents to be attached and Uploaded along with the Application form for Scholarship:
1. Photograph-Scan copy of passport size photograph that should be uploaded at the time of filling the application form.
2. Receipt –Cum-Acknowledgement of Confirmation of Admission or CAP Allotment Letter for Admission through Centralized Admission Process.
3. Minority Community declaration – affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs.100/- by the student that he/she is belonging to any one of the Minority Communities notified by Central Government.
4. As per the current studying course attested certificates if educational qualification (i.e. for UG Course – H.S.C.(12th) or Diploma final year, for PG Course – Degree final year).
5. Income and Minority declaration – Affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper (Format for the same is given on DTE Website.
6. Proof of permanent residence Attested copy of Domicil Certificate . Adhaar Card Number / Election Card etc.
7. One Photocopy of only that page of student’s own bank account passbook / cancelled cheque leaf having readable student’s name, IFSC Code, Account Number.
8. Fresh / Renewal Student has to enter Aadhaar Card number of its own. (It is desirable to enter the Aadhaar numbers).

For Renewal of Scholarship:
Only Income declaration and mark sheet of previous examination is to be attached along with Application Form. IF a candidate changed previous (i.e. 2015-2015) submitted account number than document shown at above Sr.No.05 is required.

Scholarship / Freeship (For SC/ST//SBC/OBC/VJ/DT/NT):
All the Category students (belonging to SC/SBC/NT/DT/VJ/OBC) are hereby informed to register online for Scholarship and Freeship on the Website of Social Welfare Office https://mahaeschol.maharashtra.gov.in.

ST Category students should register online for Scholarship and Freeship on the Website of Tribal Office i.e. https://etribal.maharashtra.gov.in.

Eligibility:
1. Annual income should be upto one lac Rupees to apply for Govt. of Indian Scholarship Scheme for SBC/OBC/VJ/NT/DT students. For SC and S Category students income limit for the Scholarship is Two Lacs Rupees
2. Annual Income above One Lac for the SBC/NT/DT/VJ students should apply for Freeship. And For SC & ST students annual income above Two Lacs should apply for Freeship.
3. Students admitted through CAP (Centralized Admission Process) are eligible for the benefits of the Scholarship and Freeship. Students from the other State are not eligible for Scholarship and Freeship.

Certificates in the following order should be submitted along with the application for Scholarship and Freeship:

1. Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
2. Caste Validity Certificate Competent Authority.
3. For NT/DT/VJ/SBC/OBC students, Non Creamy Layer Certificate issued by the Competent Authority is required.
4. Rationing Card (First and Last Page with student’s name)
5. Form 16 / Income Certificate / TDS Certificate in lieu of income certificate of the parents for freeship students.
6. Original Income Certificate of the parents from their respective Tahasildar Office for Scholarship students (who’s parents annual income is below Rs.1,00,000/- for DT/NT/VJ/OBC/SBC categories and below Rs.2,00,000/- for SC & ST Category).
7. Domicile Certificate / Birth Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate
8. One attested photocopy of Aadhar Card.
9. One Photocopy of Passbook or cancelled Cheque of Nationalized Bank Account of students, along with IFSC Code, Micro Code and Bank Account Number mentioned on the same. Aadhar Card should be linked to student’s Saving Account in Nationalized Bank.
10. One attested copy of 10th and 12th Marksheet.
11. One attested copy of DTE CAP allotment letter.
12. District Change Certificate – If student change his district.

Those students who secured admission in the First and Direct Second Year through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) have to fill up online application form for Freeship and Scholarship on the following Website:

AICTE Pragati & Saksham Scholarship 2015-2016:
The students who are admitted in the First Year through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) are eligible to apply for online Pragati and Saksham Scholarship.

Pragati Scheme Saksham Scheme
1. One Girl per family.
2. Family Income should be less than Rs.6 Lakhs per annum.
3. Only for students admitted in first year through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
1. Differently abled students.
2. Family Income should be less than Rs.6 Lakhs per annum.
3. Only for students admitted in first year through Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Online Form should be submitted on the Website www.aicteppragati-saksham-gov.in.

Economically Backward Class (EBC):
Eligibility:
1. Only Maharashtra State Domicile student is eligible for EBC.
2. Students, who have got admission in Centralized Admission Process(CAP) are eligible for EBC Scheme.
3. The annual family income of the beneficiary / parent or guardian of the beneficiary should not exceed Rs.1.00 Lac per annum from all sources.
4. An EBC Concession holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship or stipend for pursuing the course.
5. Students should not be forth or above child of his parent.

Certificates in the following order should be submitted along with the application for Scholarship and Freeship :
1. Receipt-Cum-Acknowledgement of Confirmation of Admission through Centralized Admission Process(CAP) along with CAP Allotment Letter.
2. Father’s Income Certificate of Tahasildar (Original Copy).
3. Student’s Domicile Certificate.
4. Previous Year Marksheet.
5. Rationing Card (first and last Page with student’s name.
6. Aadhar Card.
7. Attached copy of Nationalized Bank Account Number with MICR and IFSC Code.
8. Current Year Admission Fee Receipt.
9. District Transfer Certificate (if applicable).

LILA Poonawalla Foundation Scholarship For Girls(Private):

Eligibility Criteria to apply for Lila Poonawalla Foundation Scholarship for B. Pharmacy students:
Application Form cost Rs.300/-
1. Age Limit : 20 Years (As on June while applying)
2. Family’s total annual income not to be exceed Rs.3,50,000/- per annum.
3. Candidate should have secured minimum 60 marks in 10th and 12th Standard.
4. Only those who are taking admission in the First Year of B. Pharmacy in the Academic Year 2016-2017 in any College in Pune District can apply.
5. The Scholarship amount will be decided on merit, need and performance interview but will not exceed Rs.75,000/- per year.
6. The Scholarship is for a period of Four Academic Years and is subject to the candidate passing in al subjects and securing a minimum overall score of 60% marks each academic year in the same College. For each subsequent year, the candidate will have to submit the University / College mark sheet for verification before raising the claim.
7. It is mandatory to attend minimum three training workshops per year arranged by the Foundation and the continuation of the Scholarship will depend on the same.
8. Scholarship amount will be reimbursed against actual receipts submitted.
9. Only those candidates who have taken admission in Pune District for 1st year of B. Pharmacy in the current Academic Year, are eligible to apply.

List Of Documents To Be Attached With Application :
a) One copy of each of the following (Attested Copies only)
1. Proof of age.
2. Leaving Certificates (10th & 12th)
3. Academic Record: 10th, 12th Mark sheets
4. Admission Letter / Allotment Letter from College
5. Gap Certificate (If there is gap in your education)
6. Income proof of all earning members in Family – Last I.T. Assessment Order, incase not an IT payer and doing job then salary certificate from Employer OR last three months salary slips. If not an IT payer and not doing job then only Income Certificate from Zilla Parishad / Local Government Authority. This information will be cross checked and if found false then form will be rejected
b) Original Copy +4 Xerox copies of Part B of the Form
c) Please paste photograph on all 4 xerox copies of Part B of the Form in space given

This application must be completed & signed by the applicant only. The Trustees of the foundation will not review an unsigned or incomplete or copied application submitted without the complete set of documents listed on the first page. The decision of the Board of Trustees is binding & final.
