Department Activities

The department is engaged in various collaborative and self supported research projects to encourage students for higher education in abroad and in India. The major research domains of Pharmacology department are Neuropharmacology, Herb-Drug Interactions,inflammation, Toxicology,Metabolic Syndrome and reproductive sciences. This research work is routinely presented at various national and international symposia’s and published in reputed national as well as international journals.

The department has 14 international & national presentations and same number of publications to its credit, which is a reflection of relentless efforts of students as well as staff of the department.

Organization of various surveys in the field of Community Pharmacy is another area, which has been well explored as a part of research activity. The quality of education as well as research work has enabled and encouraged eleven students from the self-supported project team to pursue further studies in different universities in United States of America and United Kingdom in the last two years. With all these assets under its belt, the Pharmacology department prepares the students so as to prove to be better pharmacologist and professionals in the field of pharmacy.
