MH-CET after 12th /HSC with minimum 50% marks

Q. What is the intake capacity of college?

To first year B. Pharm. 100 students. For directly admission to second year B. Pharm. for Diploma student- 10% of intake. The intake for postgraduation (M. Pharm.) is 48. Pharmaceutics (15), Quality Assurance Technique (15), Pharm. Chemistry (10), and Pharmacology (08)

Q. Can this course be done by correspondence?

No. It’s a full time course.

Q. What is the course schedule?

4 years full time course which includes lectures and practicals for B. pharm. 2 years full time course partly by paper and by research.

Q. Is there a training schedule in the curriculum?

Yes, one month in-plant training after second year B. Pharm.

Q. Is there a placement cell in your college?

Yes, There is a Training and placement cell in our college wherein campus interviews are conducted by various companies every year and eligible candidates are selected.

The new syllabus (implemented as per Pharmacy Council of India) has some Elective subjects at B Pharm Sem 7 and 8.

Q. What are the rules for attendance?

75% attendance in all subjects; practical as well as theory as per university norms.

Q. Which are the subjects included in 4 years for B. pharm. Course?

The subjects included in the 4 yr course includes the following subjects Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Microbiology, Biotechnology, Medicinal Chemistry, Physical Pharmacy, Management, Pharmaceutical biochemistry, Active Pharmaceutical Ingradient technology, Bioorganic Chemistry & Drug Design, Quality Assurance Techniques, Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence. These subjects are divided in the four year course.

Q. When are final exams conducted?

B. Pharm. as well as M. Pharm. course is semester pattern. University exam of Semester I of every class is conducted in month of Nov./Dec. and semester II is conducted in the month of April/May.

Q. What is the mode of teaching?

Lectures are conducted by usage of OHP, LCD or chalk and black boardand with regular practical’s of the respective subjects. Innovative teaching methodologies like Demonstration’s, Problem based learning, Case studies etc. also practiced.

Q. How many students of the institute appear in University Merit?

Many of our students have good rank at university level.
