We at AISSMS college of pharmacy, encourage our students to have experiential learning through our unique practice “ Inhouse Research Projects” which is also our NAAC best practice.
Apart from this we also do projects offered by Industry with the state of art infrastructure we have.
We also help students of other disciplines such as Ayurveda, Dentistry in their research work by offering formulation, analytical or pharmacological help.
Objective:
Help students to explore scientific principles through experimentation
Allow students to implement their ideas
Introduce students to basics of research
Procedure
The students in group of maximum five apply to Principal AISSMS College of pharmacy, in given protocol to pursue project under teacher of their choice. After approval they can do the project work in time available outside their timetable.
In pandemic period we allowed the students to do surveys and reviews which enabled students to continue learning even if they did not have access to lab.
Expected outcomes:
- Helps to prepare students for higher studies
- Adds to portfolio of students desirous of pursuing higher education in foreign university
- Publications,
- Number of presentations in conferences and awards won.
- Revenue/collaborations from outside students/industry work.
Pranav, Rutuja and Jayesh won First Prize at Poster presentation Competition organised by SCOPER in Apr. 2022. They presented research work done under guidance of Dr. Mrinalini Damle, during the In-House project at AISSMSCOP.
