Research ethics in academic and preclinical studies emphasizes integrity, transparency, and responsibility in scientific inquiry. It ensures proper experimental conduct, humane treatment of animals, and adherence to institutional ethical approvals. In research publications, maintaining originality, avoiding plagiarism, and accurately reporting data are vital. Upholding these ethical principles preserves scientific credibility and promotes trust within the research community.
Our college promotes ethics through following measures:
• Displaying research ethics in research laboratories
• Plagiarism software is available in central library : Plagiarism Checker X Pro
• SPPU allows access to its plagiarism software to PhD guides. Currently PhD students can check their thesis using DRILLBIT plagiarism software.
• Institutional Animal Ethical Committee: CCSEA is in place for animal studies.
