Departmental Libraries

The college is well-equipped by Departmental Libraries under each core discipline of the Pharmacy program. These libraries provide faculty and students with easy access to specialized academic and research materials, thereby enriching the teaching–learning process and supporting departmental research activities.

In addition to the main library, every department maintains its own collection of subject-specific books, reference materials, practical books for the use of students and faculty members. The college maintains five specialized departmental libraries, each dedicated to a key branch viz. Pharmaceutics, QA, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Pharmacognosy.

  1. Pharmaceutics Library

The Pharmaceutics Department Library houses an extensive collection of textbooks, practical manuals, and reference books related to formulation development, industrial pharmacy, and pharmaceutical technology. The resources support both undergraduate and postgraduate learning as well as research initiatives.

  1. Quality Assurance (QA) Library

The Quality Assurance Library offers comprehensive resources focused on quality control, process validation, regulatory affairs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). It serves as a valuable hub for students and researchers engaged in ensuring pharmaceutical product quality and compliance.

  1. Pharmaceutical Chemistry Library

This library specializes in medicinal chemistry, analytical techniques, drug design, and organic synthesis. It provides essential reference materials to support laboratory work, coursework, and advanced research in pharmaceutical chemistry.

  1. Pharmacology Library

The Pharmacology Library contains a wide range of resources in experimental pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, and toxicology. These materials aid students and researchers in understanding drug mechanisms, safety studies, and pharmacodynamics.

  1. Pharmacognosy Departmental Library:
The Pharmacognosy Departmental Library is a library that helps students, teachers, and researchers who study medicines made from plants, animals, and other natural sources. Its main purpose is to give useful books and practical books for learning and research in pharmacognosy.

Each departmental library serves as an academic resource centre that promotes independent learning, research excellence, and professional growth among pharmacy students and faculty members.
