The institute is established in 1996 with the predetermined goal of becoming a center of excellence for pharmaceutical education and research. Initially, the college was situated in an old building and now shifted in a dedicated building which provides a perfect ambiance.
We all look forward to Alumina meet which is organized by college every year. It gives us an opportunity to connect with our teachers, college staff, current students and of course meeting our seniors, batch mates, and juniors at our times in college. Event handled and managed by students under the able guidance of our teachers. It is a 360-degree event. Meeting teachers is humbling, meeting current students is exciting and meeting old friends who are scattered across India and the world is fascinating and something which is beyond any words.
During alumni meet, we participate in well-planned career guidance sessions, discussion forums during alumni meet which comprises of expertise from domestic and international marketing, quality assistance, Product managers, R n D, Regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, entrepreneurs, exporters, Formulation developers, Insurance promoters, medical literature writers, clinical trials, retailers, wholesalers, HR, sales forecasters, etc....After discussion many of the current students decide their careers according to the skills sets they have and as per the job contents discussed by senior and successful alumni.
I feel extremely fortunate to be part of this ever-growing family of AISSMS College of Pharmacy.

Hi all, I am a proud alumnus of AISSMS COP, Pune. I have graduated from college in 2005. What to write about the place where I have spent 4 years of my life. This platform is really small to write those 4 years. Still, I feel really happy to write it. All those four years are running in front of the eyes. This college has been a real learning place for me. Good academics are and will always be an important factor in any students life. Dr. K. G. Bothara gave very strong academic base and Dr. A R Madgulkar is taking our college to different heights.
And obviously, a leader cannot accomplish any goal without a great team. That team is our teaching faculty with full of knowledge and passion to deliver it to the next generation. And same as supporting staff in every field the staff here has been always a good supporting strength.
Though academics is base of any teaching institute, it is not the only thing which creates best performers in the outer world. The overall development of the human being is important. And the environment here has always supported for students to grow in all possible directions. With my personal experience, I can say I have been very close to most of the teaching faculty, and they have guided us in all aspects, other than academics also.
For any student to know the real world outside, sharing actual experience of alumni in the industry is the important factor. And Our college has always provided that platform through different activities.

The best thing about the degree is having the freedom to think of an idea and test its practical application. In my First Year, I was introduced to our college’s counselling program. Priya Madam not only helped me find a balance but also redirected my focus. I had a hard Time settling in this new environment and counselling helped me ease into it.
