ADMISSION PROCEDURE
A) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR FIRST YEAR B. PHARMACY:-

Out of total admissions at B. Pharm (i.e. 60), about 80% admissions (48 seats) are done through Centralized Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of MHT-CET/ Non-zero positive score in NEET. The MHT-CET test is conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, Admission Regulatory Commission and State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai, having website www.dte.org.in/ www.dmer.org. Remaining 20% admissions (12 seats) are done by the Management at the Institute level on the basis of MHT-CET score obtained. If any CAP seat remains or becomes vacant after the CAP Rounds, then the same is filled in by the Candidate from the same Category for which it was earmarked during the CAP. Further if the seats remain vacant then the seat is filled on the basis of Inter-Se-Merit of the applicants.

  1. B) ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR DIRECT SECOND YEAR B. PHARMACY.:-
    Admissions are done through Centralised Admission Procedure run by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai on the basis of Diploma Score. The centralized admissions are done by Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai having website www.dte.org.in. If seats remain vacant after Centralised Admission Procedure, admissions are done by the Management at the Institute level.
  2. A) First Year Bachelor of Pharmacy:-

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;

(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates:

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together ;

(iii) Should obtain non zero positive score in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National:

(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

  1. B) DIRECT SECOND YEAR BACHELOR OF PHARMACY:-

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

(iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

 

GENERAL ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR B. PHARM. & M. PHARM.

  1. In the State of Maharashtra all admissions for Professional Colleges including B. Pharm. & M. Pharm. are made by Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by competent authority except few admissions at Institute Level by the college as per the rules and regulations published by Competent Authority for the respective academic year.
  2. The Competent Authority conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for the candidates.
  3. The CET for admission to B. Pharm course was conducted on 10th May 2018.
  4. Every student (Maharashtra State / OMS / All India Level Candidates) seeking admission to B. Pharm course must have appeared for MHT-CET-2018 or NEET.
  5. The MHT-CET 2018 brochure has been published and is available on the website dte.org.in.
  6. The eligible students have to register at Facilitation Center (FC) allotted by the competent authority and get the original documents verified and have to submit the Xerox copies of documents at FC.
  7. The inter-se-merit list is published on the website by competent authority on the basis of CET 2018 and  NEET score.
  8. All types of candidates seeking admissions to B. Pharm under CAP must register and get documents verified at designated FC including Institute Level admissions.
  9. Students have to fill the Options online or at FC through their login.
  10. The provisional allotment of CAP is displayed on website as per the schedule published.
  11. The competent Authority conducts the specified admission rounds.
  12. The allotted students report to Admission Reporting Center (ARC) in the given specified period. The list of ARC is published on website.
  13. The candidates report to allotted Institute and confirm the admission along with original documents and fees.
  14. For admission to M. Pharm course, student must have appeared for the GPAT 2018.
  15. The merit list for M.Pharm is prepared on the basis of GPAT score.
  16. Admissions of M. Pharm are done by Competent Authority through online CAP rounds.
  17. The Direct S. Y. B. Pharm. admissions are also made by (CAP) as above.
